Frage von silentzero:Is it possible to import into Adobe Encore 2.0, a video with 5.1 surround on the DVD and spend as synonymous? That the finished DVD just has 5.1 surround sound.
Antwort von Axel:
Clear!
5.1 is multiplexed in an AC3 file with the Mpeg2 Picture in Encore. That is standard.
Less clear is what would you want to mix the sound. Because you've got to
mix it elsewhere. And that is special (usually expensive) equipment, Special Programs (APP2.0 and audition but offer something, but does not satisfy the high expectations ahead) and especially a lot of experience.
The stereo mix is tricky enough.

From my editing program I've spent time encoder for Windows via a clip in 5.1. If I wanted to import it into Encore, it has always told me that it only supports 1 audio track. Encore also exported the DVD in Dolby Digital 2.0. For the complete DVD, it would then be able to export in DD 5.1. That can not do it. Or?

From my editing program I've spent time encoder for Windows via a clip in 5.1. As what? I looked at the Adobe HP. The typical workflow Adobe probably sees the encoding of the sound prior to DolbyDigital only in Encore. Since then, there it is only 2.0.
Whether Encore synonymous finished 5.1 Dolby imported (and which should be considered not just a cheap program already) can can be tested quickly to import a 5.1-File of a DVD purchase to go. How do you s.The 5.1 File come from? No clue ;-)
Antwort von grovel:
Yup, Encore import AC3 5.1 files.
But only the synonymous. The internal AC3 Converter can only stereo, which means it can not WMV-5.1 (I will import easily offended if the format). Not synonymous, and DTS. Via a detour through a dummy soundtrack and subsequent remuxing can be synonymous but do it.

I will quote you something from the manual of Encore:
S 37 Transcode settings Note:
(For Dibital Dolby 5.1 AC3 files will not transcode the setting "" maintain, for quality reasons)
From this I conclude that one would have to import 5.1.
Antwort von Axel:
From this I conclude that one would have to import 5.1. Let's say yes. But it must be
DolbyDigital aka
AC3, WMV rather than 5.1, the file must be from another program (APP, Audition, a music program?,'m Not Fensterer) is exported, then it'll work synonymous with Encore.
