Hey,
in a parallel thread I complained about the Matrox editing card inquired. I hope you can send me here, perhaps just as well to help you.
The problem is this: I have a camera s.analogen input from the Matrox card hang (The external device is s.die RT200 and G400 connected!) I also have a digital camera connected via firewire s.PC.
Now I would like the videos in Premiere 6.5 capture. The Matrox video tools, I of 6.0 after 6.5 is copied (program that is downloaded from Matrox). The Matroxkarte is synonymous well recognized. I now have two options for DV recording:
1. Analog Recording
2. Studio on 1394-input
No matter what input I select, I get no sound or video through Premiere (File-> Capture-> Movie Capture)! Video settings but at
Recording: Matrox DV. I have a body that premiere on the DV interface directly up, everything works beautifully, but unfortunately I will not Matrox codec on!
What settings do I need to take to make me the signal of the camera can record without any problems?

If you have the data "Only" of 6 to Premiere Premiere 6.5've copied it will not work because the registry is the old paths.
You have to be so again if necessary and install when you install Premiere 6.5 as a path to enter.

Hey Eva,
Thanks for the answer. The tool of Matrox synonymous, but over the registry entries. This works so synonymous everything good map of Premiere 6.5 is detected. The same problem with the recording, I have synonymous with premiere 6.0!
Premiere 6.0 comes before even the message: "Problem with 1394-port. Camera is not connected blabla"

Ist schon ne while ago, with my RT2000. But I think I recall that when recording on the RT2000 Matrox Video Tools is running and not Premiere.

I go over Firewire s.die RT2000 are synonymous and have been s.meinem onboard Firewire port tried. Does not both.
For the analog material I go over s.die box of the RCA RT2000.
I wonder why I get no video on Matrox, but DV-firewire I can record. Can it be that one driver for the Panasonic NV-MX300 must include?

as far as I am now: - I get an analog signal on the box of the Matrox RT2000.
- But I do not analogous to the material wants to restore the camera, but digital, I need the 1394 (Firewire) port!
I think the problem is because I have a onboard firewire port and have two pieces s.der Matrox RT2000. I Put the Camera s.die RT2000, Windows detects the camera, s.meinem onboard Firewire port is the NV-MX 300 directly detected, a window opens ( "What would you do ..." or similar .).
I Draw premiere on this port, it works out, I will, however,
on the Matrox RT2000 capture, I get no signal (neither sound nor picture)!

Edit: Are there any special Firewire Drivers for the Matrox RT2000? (I have in the hardware detection, a network device, with question marks are.)?

Just go logically before, provided the cards are properly installed and functional:
Cam s.FW of Matrox, turn on, select VCR. Premiere 6 Restart,
Project Settings-> General-> Laden_> desired
MATROXPRESET choose video - audio scratchdisk select-> go to capture settings-> format Capt. RT2000 must be -> Video input_> select the desired module-> then, only the format settings
to DV 4:2:0 to you when you move in PAL.
If now is not running anything is broken.
These are the settings for DV, analog s.der Breakoutbox is connected, then just follow the settings for composite.

as far as I was already synonymous. Perhaps it s.einer driver setting the Firewire Drivers?
I get in Premiere 6.0, but the new error message: "There was s.error connecting device 1394 to you. The device is either not present, or not functioning properly."
I click on cancel, I can record!
I think the error refers to the Firewire port on the Matrox card and the Firewire port on the motherboard, I can then record.
(As written, a network module has been detected, but drivers were not found)

But not on the Matrox RT2000. And that is yes, as the Matrox codec I need in order to be able to process real-time. I could, of course, synonymous real time and then convert avi Matrox, but lasts twice as long ;-)

So there are two possibilities, my camera adapter (the analog option times disregarded):
1. Firewire the RT2000
2. Firewire of Asus motherboards (onboard 1394-port)
I concur with the cable s.meinem onboard port, I can in the
Premiere Project record videos with sound, as usual always synonymous. (However uncompressed and
without Matrox codec. That means I can not in real time cut, but would need the files umkomprimieren)
I would like but in the
Matrox Project (real-time cut-PlugIn) avi's
with Matrox codec record, so I must Camera synonymous s.Matrox RT2000 Firewire port is connected. I have made synonymous. Only then neither do I get the message of WindowsXP, that a camera is connected, nor can I record video in Premiere. (Report Problem see above)
Therefore I presume that it is s.Treibern. Requires special again because RT2000 Firewire Drivers? (An unknown network device was already in the hardware monitor, Windows has no drivers found, I think it is the 1394-port of the RT2000)
