Hello,
my question is now not only s.Premiere, but actually "all" Adobe products needed for the production are interesting (Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Encore DVD, etc.). I realize that Adobe no direct 64bit software offers to me but what does not prevent it to run on 64bit.
Due to the RAM question, I wanted to switch to 64bit, whether Vista or XP is no first preference.
So, has anyone experience with Adobe and 64bit versions of Windows? Running around, one must observe what there problems or is everything clear?
I will not be angry, but to me it is clear that under the circumstances, the program should be emulated. Now, however, is whether the (much) is bad or maybe even better (I have 32, some of 64bit applications heard from reputable sources).
Furthermore, I would "like to" switch to Vista, due to various other aspects. But it's not 32bit, but 64bit is synonymous.
Are there restrictions, of which one reported? Does it much worse than under XP ...?
If this is important:
Currently I am running Core2Quad Q6600 and 2GB of RAM, which by 64bit but possibly will be upgraded to 4GB.

XP64 Professional and Adobe CS2 Production Studio works really great. Except for the Adobe-related crashes of the program, of course.
CS3, I have not installed and as long as I do not need, it remains beautifully welded under the rear of my tractor, rolling away as anti-block ...

I have CS3 Master Collection under Vista 64-bit s.laufen. It works and I am satisfied. However, I am in some programs were not deeply entered. A crash, I had already synonymous with Premiere, but can not say whether it s.System (Vista) or s.Premiere was. Encore, I can not update, then it does not work anymore. Why I do not know, yet I do not update (perhaps one can tell me why Adobe could not have been synonymous, however, not much effort and I have the feeling that the Helpdesk is worse, was already much better supported). Under WinXP64 I could only synonymous with Encore Registry-tuning to get running, because there was trouble with the burner. Otherwise, I was synonymous with the system happy.
