Frage von mets:Hello,
anyone know if the Quad G5, more than 4 GB of RAM in AFX permits?
I have XP64 - with 8GB Ram. AFX, however, shows only 4 GB of :-(
Is this only on Windows so? Has anyone experience on a quad-G5 has more than 4 GB of Ram?
Beautiful Easter

Nucleo more RAM and supports highly optimized rendering:

I think AE 7 does not support a maximum of only 4 GB.
At 6.5 it is 2 GB.
Motion also supports all s.RAM. There one time with 16 GB of RAM and QuattroFX in which motion was quite nice.

Hello Mets,
more than 2GB of RAM AE (can not 6.5) on OSX address (AE 7 = 3GB RAM). More RAM under OSX makes sense only if you want to run several parallel Programs. These can then share synonymous 8 GB or more RAM.
The question was asked many times before. Most were referred to the following thread at Creative Cow (greeting s.Jörg):

Thank you, then I will not on OSX synonymous change, but just take 4 GB of RAM out again and stuck in rendering clients.
I bought the plug of GridIron Nucleo, which goes off well - have thus rendered the synonymous slashCAM AFX-benchmark - out the result is impressive, white can be seen s.der table :-)
