Search Forums + Google does not really have me forward, so I'll ask here. I would like After Effects 7 Pro - on a German Windows XP Home - installed in English. Can anyone give a hint whether and if so how does it work?

Why should it not go? Windows is German, AE english .. Only you can have both;)

If you have a multilingual AE installation DVD synonymous searched on the German is included, you need before you install Windows in your language preference of English to German change. This is not about the "Tatstatursprache" but the language preference / priority for the installation of software.
Ich hab das mal irgendwann done, but no longer knows where / how. Seek and ye shall find ... :-)
Remember that when you install the English version only a few of Tatstatur can use shortcuts, because your Tatstaturbelegung German remains.

Even if you are already on U.S. AFX installed, you will find the program folder "Languages" with a link called "Adobe After Effects E". If you run this, AFX starts in English.
