Frage von Chris555:Hello together,
a
5 min
film (mov. reference from Avid) will be with me easily and without bucking after importing into AE CS3 played.
However, a
45 min
film (as mov. Reference from Avid imported) jerky when playing in AE CS3 very strong.
Why?
Maybe. s.zu little RAM? Have Time to 1024 MB of RAM via 2 x 512 MB Riegel.

Antwort von Mylenium:
With the RAM has nothing to do depends on how the QT reference to the individual OMF Schnippel accessed. Are the non-sequential on the disk or on too many boards scattered QT needs the full path every new query, if an edit is in the clip. In this case, either a mixdown or clips before generate the reference according to consolidate.

Hello,
then there is now only the question
of whether
to choose Consolidate in AVID all my data from my Film Project and its Bin (including text, graphics, etc.) so on a
different hard drive to be
written that I am under the new rendering
the old Omfi folder can. So I would have everything in one folder and Omfi if the hard drive is fast enough to have the AE 45 min. Film yes without bucking from the Mov-Ref link play?
