Hello!
When I record in 4:3, the viewfinders tape and then edit to:
I suppose Ulead Media Studio. Leg I then simply a mask made with paint on the white middle and top and bottom has black bars?
What is the optimal solution?

Huh?

You just glue the top and bottom s.Television two thick black bars off cardboard. Then you have the same result and is faster ...

Why do you want a 4:3 to 16:9 movie format bring?
You goes to all cases because image information is lost.

And please tell us why you Viewfinder tape ?!?!?

That is the point grad ;-)
He has the Viewfinder (4:3) covered with (the bars above and below) to only the image information to be seen (16:9), which later will want to have (16:9 letterbox) ...

The man understands me. But how do I then editing program in the bars there? Letetrbox kenn ich nicht, bin Beginners. : (

I do not know your program. Offered either through a menu of the trim material (Help function) or you do a simple black bars above and below the picture. The latter is, at least with my Pinnacle Studio is very simple.

Better still would be perhaps an image file, while black bars, but where the video runs, is transparent. Then you do the alpha channel as transparency choose what quality is favorable.

A mask with a white surface, however, synonymous. In this case, the transparency for example, about a Lumakey or "multiply" defined.
