Hello,
AfterFX in previous versions it was possible the effects included by clicking on "Help" menu of the program and call in a preview.

Is it still somewhere "hidden" in the Help?

Hello, which you can find in the Bridge! From After Effects to find out under "Animation-> Preferences browse" then it opens the bridge and you can get the specifications and chart with a double click to take on After Effects.
