First, a warm hello s.die community!
I have a SonyHandycam DCR-SR70E. Were now on holiday and have since filmed a lot. Escaped are 217 files (about 15GB) on which I've imported from your PC. Than. "MPG" before.
Have I then bought Magix video and thought to myself this is a drag & drop history with few effects and transitions. But puff cake!
1. The small movie parts Jerkiness itself totally in the preview of Magix Video
The support suggested me the files with ProjektX to demux (because the MPG probably contain many errors) and then cutting.
Good - is purely theoretical das annoying that I only then to every part of the manual or video sound must add.
Wanted all 217 movies at times demuxer. Since ProjektX throws but only several large files. So not every Demuxt individually and the results are synonymous as individual files out. Sch ....
Well then I would have every single demuxer so I went back all the little videos have individually.
My question now:
1. Is this not simple (maybe other software? Possessions in google found nothing because there was no clue)
2. Is it not a good editing program that synonymous with these corrupted files can work?
My Config:
Handycam, as mentioned
Core 2 Quad Q6600 with 4x 2.6 GHz
3GB RAM
WinXP
I would be glad if someone could give a tip. As I remember it is probably only a HS Course in DV editing do so because the seemingly ne or science full-time employment.

But if you say that it is so simple I should perhaps just change.

I suspect that problems with the Magix SonyMPEG-2 has - had the same problem with the SR190E. Magix Video Deluxe has "refused", the sensible stuff to cut, preview was crap, after everything was rendered asynchronously.
Bin then converted to Premiere (first element, then Pro): This is wonderful!
However, Premiere Elements has a few bugs during cutting (see one of my previous posts), with which you are after a little practice, can arrange. For the cheap price it's - in an emergency even on a somewhat old laptop!
In Premiere Pro you have to predict the AC3 codec from the Encore DVD installation into the Premiere directory, so you can hear the sound.

Werd me move the trial. Once I have the full versions of Pinnacle and Magix shows I've bought this a closer look before I pay what;)
