Newsmeldung von slashCAM: Apple acquires Silicon Color / advanced Final Cut Pro? Of rob - 17 oct 2006 10:02:00 As has just become known, has the Apple Manufacturer of professional color correction for film and video over Silicon Color. Silicon Color has with its Final Touch products a name in the post production world. Final Touch is a color correction system for film Colourists, in its highest stage of development with 2K DPX and Cineon frame sequences in real time at 292 MB / sec (an appropriately fast RAID provided) and without proxies anymore. An integration into Final Cut Pro is very likely.

The color correction in Final Cut is everything, but not bad.
Shake has a totally different concept. How to use this concept to Final Cut Pro may be, I do not know. It will employ programmers but how to translate the surface. Because the color correction in Shake only makes sense with complex surface.
