Hello!
There I was able to come into possession of a camcorder TRV900 come.
Now I have the camcorder via firewire cable with the PC.
The network adapter 1394 reports: connected.
Also, the camcorder displays on the screen: DV IN.
Unfortunately recognizes the Windows Movie Maker of XP with SP2 is not the camcorder.
The freeware program WinDV reports: Error: device not found.
Already have several patches for XP Firewire interface installed, to no avail.
In Slashcam forum will always be reports of such problems, but no solution has helped.
My question: wa must I do to connect via firewire my videos of the TRV900 to PC to copy?

Fun aside, Sonnier old times are now not happy with XP verbandelt. A VX1000 funzt synonymous net. Since it solutions (none, in our VXen helped). With the search you will find here solutions, primarily references to M $ patches.

Easy way: Use cheap Capture bitch. Something with Chip Dutt and Lens burst, mainly it still plays from tapes. Search times on ebay. Broken cameras you'll find there, if the item description contains this sentence: "I have no idea and could not try."

TRV900 already have my calculator s.verschiedensten are held,
no problems. Loading ScLive the times you look and whether the controls are detected. That is my opinion is still the safest way, the entire route to be tested.

Habe mir sclive20051228g downloaded and tested. Also this program shows only my device as a satellite map.

I now have an original Sony cable borrowed, but so synonymous changes nothing.
Maybe I should just me the cheapest DV camcorder fetch only dubbing. Or is with negative effects to be expected, if I with the Sony camcorder, for example, and with a JVC about games?

Nix set, tuned and ready to hang.
There are m. E. several possibilities as to why it does not work:
1. the 1394 does not work
2. Drivers are missing, but in XP SP2 should not be
3. (and this is expensive) the 1394 s.der TRV900 is faulty.
I had already S.2 cameras, at the cost of 280 ¬.
Should not really be, because the display DV - In appears.
The debugging is certainly not easy.
