Frage von Steffen04889:Have of my DV camera via firewire my video to the PC, then creates with Scenalyzer single scene clips and imported into Ulead VideoStudio 10th I let my VideoStudio properties of a clip show, I am told under Audio: 16bit and 32 kHz.
That still does not add, does it? 16bit audio has yet 48kHz?
Antwort von Stefan:
Nope. There are different possible sampling rates.
When DV is 32 kHz and 48 kHz standard values. It can usually be set s.der Camera which sampling rate should be used for recording (except as SonyVX1000E: kHz) only 32nd
If you want to make DVDs later, it is advantageous to set the DV recording 48 kHz - then it must not be the O-Sound umgesampelt later.
Good luck

Have a Panasonic GS280.
May vote at Audio only 12bit or 16it.

Perhaps it is not quite clear what I mean:
With one and the same clip is shown to me in Properties 32kHz with 16bit.
Antwort von Schleichmichel:
Of course, there may be so. Synonymous but I find it unusual for DV, as it has generally synonymous 12bit at 32kHz. Since I never synonymous and do not just have the opportunity to test it, sometimes prefer a different program to advise what the media information can show (VLC, Quicktime, .. wasweissich).
The sampling frequency is indeed simply the "Resolutionin of time", while the number of bits, the fineness, ie "Resolutionder Dynamics said.

That still does not add, does it? 16bit audio has yet 48kHz? Actually apply for the following DV (because sensible and logical) values:
32 kHz x 12 bits x 4 tracks: 8: 1024 = 187.5 KB / sec
48 kHz x 16 bits x 2 tracks: 8: 1024 = 187.5 KB / sec
Aha, twice the number of tracks, identical data rate, because due to the possibility of post-s.PC absolutely senseless, "dubbing" in the camera.
What I can not imagine, however:
You write that you are you can show the properties after the import. Could it be that your project settings so loud and your clips, which are converted either come 12bit/32kHz or 16bit/48 kHz from the camera to match it to the project properties? Mal Check the project settings.

Had at the beginning of recorded audio tapes views with 12bit. Then on a subsequent recording on the same tape with 16bit.
Also DVdate showed me in to the 16bit recording only 32kHz.
Have time now to a new tape recordings made with the beginning of 16bit already s.and be displayed in the properties of the clip again 16bit and 48kHz.
Thanks for the help.
