Hello Slashcam,

find the comparison side of the HDV camcorder models very well, because a direct comparison is possible. I am already eagerly awaiting the results of the HDR-FX7.
Unfortunately I miss one thing:
In the section Slashcam-grading, there are no tests on the quality of audio, such as Signal to Noise, frequency response.
I think it would be very helpful, the head drum - and Zoomgeräusche and the noise in proportion to the useful and control over strength and frequency response test.

Gruss

Yes, the FX7 we all wait. The Canon A1, however, is already on the way ...

Because of the audio measurements at microphones we hold back more.

1.The internal microphones because of the placement in our opinion s.Camcorders maximum times for the recording Athmo suitable then synonymous and there is limited, mostly because of the head drum motor rausgefiltert what is the frequency response is extremely nonlinear. Only flash camcorders, this phenomenon does not occur, the position of the microphone makes recording voice but it is still not better, simply because there is too much room noise / ambient mitkommt. A measure to make little sense, because most cameras integrated Noise Gate have. A valid measurement of at least extremely difficult, because you really only in the declining level after a loud noise is expected to measure. But the practical value of such a measure goes to zero.
2.If an external Micro can be connected, then the frequency response for all models known to us almost linear. Also in the SNR give the models little, so the small differences hardly a criterion for purchase is likely to be relevant.

Or in short terms: A measurement for automatic with internal microphone seems to us not meaningful. And without automatic with external Micro not a good comparison, since the differences in the practice are too low.

And another note: We believe s.besten go with an external flash audio recorder (eg MP3 player with a good microphone input). The reserve can be synonymous, when the camera should move.

Hi folks,
I have a few weeks before the SonyHvr A1E bought and now identified as the highly advertised XLR adapter extremely noisy.

Now I wanted to ask whether this problem has occurred when someone else is.
I have been with the prime support in connection-set and the camera was already synonymous with them to the judge.
Still roars. The rush is so going on around 52db. According datenblatt Sonymüsste of but a dynamic range of 85dB usable.
Also, I noticed the camera synonymous with 48kHz Sampelfreqenz around 16kHz a hi-cut filter is used but only for a eigendlich Sampelfrequenz of 32kHz to 48kHz is likely to have it at 24kHz is.
Say the forecast 48kHz professional recordings are not at all because it is the frequency range 16kHz to cut anyway.
So Sonygelogen? Or is my camera broken? The support says the camera is OK!
Has anyone similar problems with the SonyHVR A1E?

Schomal Many many thanks in advance for the reply.
