Frage von the_flasher:Hello,
HV20 is the default on 12-bit audio recording.
Now, in the manual but the 16Bit better quality.
Do I have to have any particular things sure if I record with 16-bit and support the assets of all editing programs?

Hello, my old SonyDCR include PC-8 is so that when no 16Bit Microphone can connect (or we can, but it's not a ton to receive). 12Bit + Mirkofon: yes / 16Bit + Microphone: no

... Do I have to have any particular things sure if I record with 16-bit ... Forget the 12Bit-setting, it still comes from the times when dubbing in camera was an issue. Today is the much better s.PC so that you have asked why this Manufacturer 12Bit-relic is still installed. Details can be found here:

... HV20 is the default on 12-bit audio recording Without the HV20 closer to know - your statement to me before the Spanish.
According to the standard must be synonymous, the HV20 in HDV mode ALWAYS with 16-bit 48 kHz recording. Only in DV mode, there is the division in 12/16 bit. Standard, however, is 16 bits.
