I am so far not succeeded yet!
In what do I have to convert avi file so I can insert it into my presentation!
Tool And especially with what one?

Hi Freak,
So really Powerpoint plays easily from AVI files without that you have to transcode anything.
If you do not know how to insert movies:
Select Insert -> Film and Sound -> Movie from File -> Film
-> Click on Yes in the Question window now, if the film is to be automatically started on No if you want to start it by clicking.
If you need to transcode one trtzdem Toll, seek views as to Tempeg.

Hello,
AVI is a container format and called the really says only that you can have is video - and audio data. Lacking the relevant Calculator perhaps a matching codec?
Check doch mal AVI file with GSpot.
