One you know but now probably synonymous, Liquid is in development as well as X-Press of Avid been discontinued. Gabs a patch yet for the X-10-graphics cards.
While it is next year, probably a variant with the name NewGen appear, however, more a aufgemöbelte of Pinnacle Studio version will mean.
On the Evaluation of Liquid-line users, however, I'm already excited ..........

I run my very elderly Liquid 5.62 (DV only, no HD) with XP, 2 GB RAM and 5 hard disks (pure luxury).
You should but the 2 GB of RAM in any case, provide (more than 3 under XP do not SOWISO) and in any case, the operating system of the video data separated, so at least 2 hard disks - minimum separate partitions. Meanwhile, the hard but quick enough to be able to submit a business synonymous with multiple partitions on a hard drive securely style ...
Makes sense, it is in any case, a functioning system for video and to install the image as synonymous secure. Other applications (Internet, Office, games, ...) should be provided in a separate operating system environment running (dual boot or removable disk). I appreciate tips! liquid is fortunately not s.ein ultra-modern PC system bound .. it does not need such a processor with adobe ess3 support and my 1 gb ram and amd 2000 Processor running without problems ... but should work with the avid everything else is closed - that is synonymous in the manual but it is recommended .. da top .. avid windows xp there is no probs ..
