MPEG2 support have all Manufacturer meanwhile, is not it?
Important additional features: Nachvertonen, transition effects, flashes of images or written, possibly as noise filter, etc.
What can you recommend? Experience?

- Pinnacle Studio 11 (semi-good performance)
- Vegas Movie Studio 8 (no output to AVC possible)
- Vegas 8a (synonymous output AVC mögich)
- Canopus Edius 4.5/Neo (bad Performans native)
About Intermediates go with
- Canopus Edius / Neo (very good intermediate Canopus HQ codec)
- Vegas 8a (brings the Cineform codec with)
- VdL (converts to mpeg2, native is more of poor performance)
- Apparently synonymous various Mac products

In the latest versions can Ulead VideoStudio synonymous the AVCHD editing - but I hardly know people who use this software for this purpose. Is simply too little performat - unless, you use the proxy files.
