The following situation: I have with Pinnacle Studio version 11 video cut and wants it back onto tape to play - in HDV quality.
As far as the Firewire cable synonymous with the calculator correctly wired - and is synonymous of studio recognized - and if I start the video the video is synonymous correctly on the LCD monitor displays the Canon HV20 and runs smoothly from.
But when I use the video to DV tape and would like to record from the pause mode of recording in the recording mode switch would like, there is an error
HDV / DV input check. But: What is true is not? Why is not the camcorder?

I have the same problem with my Canon HV10 and with Magix Video Deluxe 2008 plus.
When I try to use a ready-made video of my Widows Vista PC on the Canon HV10 to play, the camera shows no reaction.

In Final Cut Pro is that no tape recording to "start (though the countdown is on and everything) and one

The video is available as a MPEG2 file in HD, which plays Calculator flawlessly, without dropouts.

Mh, None truly knows a solution for this problem? Habs now with the Windows Movie Maker under Vista tries synonymous so do I get the HD video does not back up tape. What is going on?

Have the same problem and still have immer.Ich also a HV20.Mit my P4 2,4 Ghz, the times went back to play, there were times nicht.Meistens after about 20 minutes exactly this Problem.Ich working with Magix, but I believe this was not the Problem.Ich despite all possible attempts (different software with Pinnacle was the worse, turn off all other applications that share memory, etc.) this problem does not lösen.Vor some time I have bought a new laptop and lo and behold everything works.
Meanwhile, I play the movie does not cut more on the camera back, but I have a HD player Harddisks growth, protects the camera.

Hello,
I have the HV30 and work with Ulead VideoStudio.
For me, only sporadic frames on the tape on.
The Fehlermedung appears on the display of the Cam, not s.PC.
What is there? No idea, only one seconds fraction.
The management of the Cam Prog works from as far as it will appear in Prog, that the transfer is in progress.
But I see on the cam just that they are in recording mode, but no Picture.
And then it concludes with control, stopping vo PC is no more.
Even if the video is finished long ago.
Must be off the Cam

DV / HDV input check! Since the (H) Computer connection works in principle, two possibilities remain open: the software does not provide the desired data (even small differences can have large consequences) or the camcorder accepts the data stream for some reason not. (*)
To systematically exclude both, try the following: export the HDV - video in a new file and then play this file with another program or video editing HDV-capable tool.
If that does not work, try the same again with another camcorder, the HDV2 capable.
* As far as I am in the above thread have seen, concerns the return match HDV problem only HDV camcorder of Canon, but no other marks. Is this coincidence or is there more to it?

Is still not in the HDV2 specification. Although it should still work, but it may well be that the WMM or Pinnacle as well not work with Canon. The counter-test would be whether it works smoothly with 1080i.
