Hello,
I stand before the decision to send me a new camcorder to buy. As long as I dubbed the DV tapes want to avoid, I want to a DVD or hard disk model switch.
Below are a few questions:
- How much worse is the picture and sound quality of this recording in comparison to DV recording (beutzte previously SonyDCR PC 1000)?

Hello,
did my first video with the SONY DVD92 made.
The overall handling is very simple and not as time consuming as with DV.
Pro disc, only 1.5 GB on the hard drive to.
Since the end result will be a DVD, it is hardly any visible differences to DV on the TV type.
Only directly on the camera or playback device, the quality certainly better.
The SW of mine used encodes only the new transitions.
The rest will be copied 1:1.
For the complete DVD authoring (4.7 GB) needs about 2.5 hours SW

So I think DV is DV. Everything else is as if one sells you a Videocam with 500 specialist wants to turn on digital zoom. Who wants to continue editing, if a decent outcome is desired, not to DV over.

the panasonic HVX200 but looks nice:)
