Antwort von PowerMac:
Converting to an uncompressed 8 bit HD sequence. This is the best.
Antwort von prem:
try the YUY Huffy codec (2:1 lossless, free) or Quicktime PNG, synonymous approximately 2:1.
But that only runs on redundant RAID at play

My question is very simple: what is the HDV codec, which (no preference for any file size) the maximum image quality output? Flat so you can not tell. If the tip of my "prescribing" with a 1-hour HDV - video has been applied in eg 8-bit uncompressed approximately 500 GB (10 bits + 1 terabyte Huffyuv at about 250 GB) + that could have been many harddisks "blow up".
There are very good intermediate codec, like "CineformHD" CanopusHQ "or the synonymous" QT-Intermediate "synonymous ... But as an alternative to the Pegasus PIC Mjpeg V3 ...

So Canopus HQ and Cineform Intermediate codec to write immediately.
The rest provides either very large files - and makes of this Page her problems. Approximately synonymous Sony YUV codec.
The mentioned MJPEG avi codec of PIC is not really planned - with which I am more cautious, according to my tests.
