My favorite short film is "A Thousand Words" by Ted Chung - brilliant. Also his book "On Time" find ich sehr cool gemacht.

all under 40 minutes is certainly short, everything about ne hours probably not more (feature film).
Anything between 40 and 60 minutes - would be in doubt, probably as synonymous Short Film designate an interim title because there are probably not.
