Hello,
my problem is that with all my shots with my TV card to the black borders around to recording.
My TV card:
Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-S-Pros (; Did the drivers taken from the Internet - not of the CD)

Windows XP Home Edition
Service Pack 3
CPU Core 2 Quad Q9550
3 GB RAM
Zotac GeForce GTX 260 (; current drivers are installed)
I have tried several capture programs such as iuVCR, Windows Movie Maker, synonymous with different frame's size (eg 720x480 or 720x576) herumprobiert but ultimately changes the
nothing ... the black edges remain.
Somehow I have the feeling that it might s.der TV card itself, since the card I already synonymous in another PC and synonymous had the same problem arose.

In the first answer shows that there is apparently no fault of the TV card, but generally for all cards then .... can anyone confirm?
My approach to the recording should correct short Schielderung:
- Graphics card is with the TV card via S-Video cable
- In NVIDIA-settings I have to go nView graphics settings ----> cloning and on the "TV + Samtron" (and my monitor)
- My screen resolution changes then at 1024 x 768 pixels.
- Start example iuVCR (; version 4.17) to go with Crossbar and select "Video In:" the point "0: Video SVideo In" from.
- Go on the button "Configure" then under the properties tab "Video Decoder"
and check whether everything is OK.
Video standard values: PAL_B
Singal determines: 1
Head ermitelt: 625
- And yet ultimately choose the Capture Format
I have chosen: 720x480 Frame Size
Color Format / compression: YUY2
Frame rate: 25,000
Disable format control: []
- Compression: None (; uncompressed)
And then start the recording everything works flawlessly every time, only the black borders around the recording arise.
So I want in my case, no pictures on the VCR or TV on your PC but simply record what is playing on my PC.

Tips and advice on how I might fix the problem, I would be very grateful to you all. :-)

Please try it out just another Resolutionaus.
Synonymous and the capture-time format with 720 x 576 sample.

The black rim seems to be underscan function. If he is missing and you have S-Video cable s.einen tube TV?, S.Rand content you would not see it because of the underscan TVs would disappear.
It is basically the normal.
For ATI graphics cards, you can customize these underscan. Ie enlarge, reduce or completely do away (for example a monitor or TV with underscan function has).
