Frage von Nathanjo:As you can read in the headline: "I am desperate. I would like unbdedingt again the movie Blade Runner with Harrison Ford (I had seen the original version schonmal seen on television).
Well known way there (only the director's cut version on DVD which is really grottig equipped, no (reasonable) menu, no extras and the picture is synonymous to be quite awful. Toll. But I would be happy if I could find this version at least .
In the video rental I trust (and my contract-rental card = money;)) they have the movie of course not. And, by googling for Germany, I have found only deals on Amazon, but of private companies are all of 17 ¬ (RC1 DVD ... nich so doll to go) to 49 ¬ (!, RC2). Ebay only. Toll. I'll again ask whether the market for media that somehow can order or anything, but maybe even one of you any idea where I could get on the Internet for nen reasonable price?
I think this is a sci-fi classic that only recently was re-elected to a jury of the best sci-fi movie of all time! How can this be, that one gets to nowhere? Is ja nich any n B-Movie ...
The DVD is unfortunately out-of-print and the promised Special Edition is so deep in the "Legal Issues-hold" that in the time foreseen today is probably nothing.
I am grateful for all the tips and condolences ...

Nathanjo

Did the way, now rausgefunden that Blade Runner really had (is print for some time) out of. At least the RC2 version. Only if this is of interest to anyone:)
Antwort von chrisgau:
If you can live synonymous with the U.S. version (RC1) in NTSC ... for CAD 18.95 () including shipping it is your own:

Question is ... is your DVD player region free - of course, was supposed to be ;-)

Antwort von Nathanjo:
Yes, as I said, the RC2 is sold out, the RC1 is still available. But as you have already guessed, for me it is of less interest, since 1st NTSC and 2 RC1 (do not own a region-free players ...). Why would obviously nen-have multi-region player to me now is too high;)
The NTSC version is the way, after all of the image quality to be very good, but it helps me not synonymous;)
Antwort von chrisgau:
Why would obviously nen-have multi-region player to me now is too high;) Well, because with such an activation can become, his DVD's shop in the world instead of only in Europe. What course in music (is) in spite of regional distribution agreements should be synonymous with shooting sormal. Accordingly, it is natural for me, I am not of the manufacturers - have succumbed to the pressure from the film studios can - to dictate where I buy my DVD's. Or in other words - it should be obvious to the Manufacturer, region free DVD player offer, which de facto synonymous indeed happened. Since None is telling me that the ease with which one of the operating system itself can modify high-quality DVD players, not the intention.
The whole way, is not only a theoretical case. In Australia, namely, we can with beautiful Regelmäßgkeit RC4 DVD (PAL) with buy German soundtrack. And for those who are of the English Language powerful, the German soundtrack anyway mostly uninteresting.
Other alternative. 'But you purchase the DVD and finished without a region code on a copy. If I remember correctly, is ine single-layer DVD, which one gets without sacrificing quality on a DVD-R or DVD + R disc.

Now I see it like you, but I still have no region free player (which explain "why" to my book now takes too long,) but in principle it pure coincidence:)
