yes I know the topic has already been more than breitgetreten here but unfortunately I have not found useful approach.
So quite simply, please!
let's say
have 2x2 images - Play (black / white) and Color and Play in the same chapter again with .....
.... wants is the first step (first play), the play is in color (ie selected) and chapters in s / w is .... if I now with my (virtual) remote control downward pressures that chapter should be selected and play in color and b / w. .... So simply said ... such as that of his normal button in case the internet is (onmouseover = bild1 (color)
Please do not re-start with the menuhighlights .... been sitting for hours in front of photoshop and try all things by (= 1) highlight, etc. .. because then come the menufarben ... I will not menufarbe but I want the buttons, the play between color and b / w switch ....
... wenns encore not in radio I have to try to AE only because I know that from me nuts ....

I probiers again
wants a PLAY button with 2 levels ... this is "selected" (not active) is in color, while the button CHAPTER black / white (not selected) .... I now go with the remote control down kapitel will naturally "selected" --- ie CHAPTER is now in color and PLAY in S / W
in PS would look like
Level 1 - Play Color
Level 2 - play s / w
now and should vary depending on whether the play is or is not ausghewählt color or b / w his ... alles klar ..
So just as with the menupalletenfarben only with images

Mouseover there is not the DVD because no mouse StandalonePlayer have .. Standalone Player have no mouse, but with the arrow keys will jump you to the same menu item of menu. The coloring or highlighting is the same as for the mouseover.
