Frage von Monkinger:So first, I have searched everywhere and found this on Google but somehow not suitable for my problem - now, therefore, of the thread.
I once again believe in the years gone by now, rausgeholt of Samsung camcorder. Samsung VP-H65 ... Now I wanted to digitize all the old tapes via your PC. The converter into digital via firewire is currently not in there, so much in advance:)
Well yesterday I'm using S-video cable of the camera to the S-Video in for TV card and plugged the 2 stereo plugs to the line-in sound card s.der ... everything works fine ... But why, I only have a black and white picture?
Would be good if someone could tell me when, why.
Thank you :-)

Hi,
have you ever tried to connect the camcorder just s.den Television? Evt. using an S-Video - RCA adapter cable! If you then take B / W picture you, it's either a mistake or your digital camera, the picture is exactly what they are synonymous s.den viewfinder, out via S-Video OUT.
Then you need to dub a separate video player for the -8.
Live Preview on extra monitor would be synonymous only in B / W.
... If only as an idea, if there really is, I do not know, because they make really would not make sense:)
But a tip: If it's not exactly comes to dubbing old videos, but so synonymous to film something new, every cheap 1-chip camcorder, the better! How expensive are not even more.

Constantin

Hello,
Yes ... So, I just connected the camcorder via S-video TV s.den. Beautiful colors ... Unfortunately, the colors remain only s.PC ...
Do I need to modify some might Drivers settings so that it works?
I WinTV PVR TV Card ... If synonymous only one approach of an idea, I would be very grateful.
Thanks for the other tip ;-) First I would like the Hi8 tapes to CD or DVD and then later comes to banish some point the new!
So if anyone has an idea, do not be reluctant ;-)
