The camcorder has a 10-times optical zoom and an "enhanced" optical image stabilization system ( "Super Range"), and may, in addition to the popular DVD formats synonymous to dual-layer recording. Installed, the new DIGIC DV II processor. A new Quick Start function, the cam in about one second to be receptive.
As the interfaces are only USB2.0 and AV output available (no micro, no Headphones), instead, a video light and a flash included. Available in trade s.March 2007 for approximately 799, - Euro.

Mit der DC200er-Serie erscheinen drei weitere DVD-Camcorders -- DC230, DC220 and DC210. Auch hier finden sich der DIGIC DV II-Processor, Quickstart-Funktion and Dual-Layer-Kompatibilität, der Zoomfaktor ist jedoch deutlich aufgestockt, nämlich 35-fach (optical). Dafür stehen verglichen with dem DC50 nur 1,07 (DC230) Mega- bzw. 800.000 Pixel zur Verfügung (effektive Pixel entsprechend weniger). Connections: AV out and USB2.0 (DC210 nur AV out). Die Geräte sind s.Anfang April zu Preisen zwischen 429,- and 519,- Euro (je nach Ausstattung) im Handel verfügbar.

The same 35-fold optical zoom, the computer models from the new series with MD100er. The models can MD150/130 photos on tape and on SD and SDHC memory card, with the former up to 800,000 pixels (1152x864). The Model MD110 brings photo function instead of a microphone input with (although both headphone input as synonymous manual Tonaussteuerung omitted). Available in trade s.Mitte February 2007 for around 399 / 359 / 319 euros.

Should probably be a joke. Who buys a camcorder without a filter thread?

No filter threads ... Should probably be a joke. Or a brainwave of the marketing department: Maybe soon, there's extra money for an adapter, then to the even more extra money only original Canon filter or wide-angle converter fit ...

Who would have thought 15 years ago that a camcorder without Charger is sold? Or no cartridge attached to the device at least time to operate?
Finally, on Headphones and microphone ports waived. There are even re-DV camcorder without a computer interface. Meanness is just s.solchen Geil and features may save the Manufacturer.
Nevertheless, there will be enough people who buy such a thing!

That depends on. If you're absolutely sure that you use during the planned life of this camcorder never have a filter thread will need, then it does not matter if (D) a (future) If something does not have.
Personally, I would be limiting - like a lack of connectors for Microphone and Headphones - too big. But this must be every man for himself clarified.

DVD camcorder is mainly s.weniger-advanced user, who may not necessarily their material s.computer want to edit, and synonymous with filter s.hut have nothing.

Have now the Raynox QC-303 0.3x WW with rubber holder which self. Apart from the fact that I was now "low budget" weggekommen am it's already miserable, absolutely no filter thread s.der recorders to make. Also you can mode in the viewfinder, you can not adjust the focus because the joystick is retracted. : (
