Hi,
before I 300, Eu a workshop in the ... throw, I would like to know what is good ... maybe wear the head drum?
What is a test, if necessary Eigenbau to figure out whether occasional error by tape recording or worn by the head?
Pixel errors are of the Cam software auto removed. Can you actually picture based on test and evaluation of single images CAUSE research?
I'm currently at about 300 hours arrived DV8, TRV210E

You will be at 300 h Filmerei provides a few tapes of the past. If the player now shows error, what with the camera in order. Take not the most important!
Otherwise ... Has the camera ever cleaned? Have you recently the band Brand / Variety changed? If you have the tapes storing the camera always synonymous brav out?

A q & d search haunted only confirmatory information about Prosumer & better from DV camcorders. Sony debit of 1500 "drum hours" (for TRV900?) Indicate. Others limit, that under real conditions rather 900-1000 h are. http://forums.creativecow.net/readthread/35/856013/856013

The TRV900 Service Manual should drinstehen "The DV transport section (not drum hours!, Stefan) recommends head and tape path cleaning every 500 hours of use, and lists checkpointmedia items and servicing up to 5000 hours of use." But the comment of John Beale is "I do not know if this is excessive optimism or not.".

Interestingly I find synonymous, that the professionals between drum hours, tape total operational hours and hours fine differ.
Return to your Camera ... occasionally the camera shows an error code?
