Hi!
Since I have found some synonymous in the search again I wanted to briefly summarize:
Cameras with good video Resolutionhaben 640x480 @ 30fps, stereo, and with the recording time is limited (memory card) also can not zoom it.
Very small camcorder (memory cards) are located as in 0.8 M range, refer to synonymous MPEG4, and zooming is possible.
Has anyone a tip, which might fit cam to me:
- Compact size is very important
- (The shooting of Band performing quality should be OK, but more importantly handiness)
- Short films at parties, at parties or other occasions.
Say, I want the camera / camcorder wherever you go, perhaps they should be synonymous found in pocket and make the possibility of photos would be a nice extra.
From the video quality, it should have a pleasant s.PC monitor size, and roughly s.Television SVIDEO quality.
Since I currently do not synonymous digital camera, I wanted to know first whether it possibly already are models that would meet my requirements, or what is the right camcorder.
Price I would ever say cheaper the better, up to 700 euro.

Panasonic has a MPEG2 Camera with photography option, and one of JVC Everio GZ500 with Stillimage and audio option.
Otherwise, there is the Nokia N90, which can make a phone call synonymous and Jamba.
For serious concert recordings a camera you will probably want to use s.2000 euros upwards, which is synonymous with the lighting conditions clear. But the microphones are already estimated at some Hunert ...
I gather from your comments, however, that the concerts more "unofficial" will be filmed. Then a cell phone could indeed be helpful.

Well, the best "small" might very well be the Canon MVX 4i, unfortunately, it will be hard to get for 700 ¬. My tip would be SonyPC 53 or 55 Very compact, mini DV system - cheap and problematic film editing and film quality improvement as an all MPEG 4 and still cameras. The MPEG4 models ala Minikit are already brutally compressed. When my aunt me their videos with an Aldi presents MPEG 4 Camera, there was nothing comparable to seeing s.Mini DV quality.
Media Markt had modified the 53 sells at a loss for 499 ¬ ....

Who had to test occasion a PC53/55? I fear that my shots with this cam can be too dark because it has no light.
The MPEG 2 camcorder of Panasonic (SDR-S100) has me a little too expensive (1100. -)

Worse than the "great" entry-HC 17, it is not synonymous.
CCD is synonymous 1 / 6 "size, intensity 1,7-2,2 (HC 17 even worse with 1,8-3,1).
Well there's not many in the current class at the very small
-the cheap Aldi and Co. Universal MPEG 2 or 4 cameras (Stillimage / video / web)

Pana SDR-S 100
I would recommend the PC 53 entirely, synonymous only because Mini DV

As with almost all models Sonyaber LowLight has very good quality, it is synonymous with good advise you if the size is critical.
Good sounds all have small tape drive models.

What Mitr 100 like about SonyPC Pana SDR 53/55 and S is that they finally baumelden the lens cover is off.
For Canon MVX 4i: Does the same mechanism as the cassettes 7x0/8x0-Modelle or 9ist the weriger?
And Jan, after you've tested the Pana obviously been: Are the photos usable? Does she have a sound track like the JVC?

Over the sound of the SDR S 100, I can not do anything bad to say who's Stillimage already have a good "camcorder standard," but they are still a little worse than 3 million digicam photos ala Canon, Nikon Sonyoder.
