SBand? Your question could calm down a bit more detail. Man could get the impression that you have typed this just before you click loo's are running! ;)
The DVD structure is unlikely to secure SBand, it seems to me.

The means may be a tape streamer.
If the DVD is not copy protected, you can secure the data wherever you want, provided there is enough space on the backup medium.
If the DVD is copy protected, you can legally secure nowhere.

To secure a DVD I would any other DVD or a hard drive to use.
