Hi,
wish me the SonyHDR-SR1E (previously HDR-HC1E) growth. This saves on hard drive in
AVCHG format. From the old HDR HC1E (mpeg format on mini DV) was the program capture and scene detection even after time-code. But now comes the
AVCHG format! Who knows if the Studio 10 Pro, or
which can capture and process? In addition, this 4-channel audio Dolby 5.1 is included, but my knowledge of the program can be processed.

The Formart called

It is no longer captured in the strict sense. This means that the video files on the hard-drive camcorders are already available digitally. The files are only using the USB cable to the PC hard disk transfer.
If in SD mode is filmed, it is already MPEG files. In HD mode, it is the AVCHD files (with the file extension. M2ts).
I know of no native video editing program that can handle AVCHD files.
Even my video editing program Sony Vegas, has AVCHD support on early next year.
Included is a simple "Trim-Tool", with the beginning and end of the film can be trimmed.

Yes, very.
The HD quality is very good. (Looking through a component cable on a Dell 24 "monitor.)
Even in the SP mode (7MB/sek.) Very good quality. I have eg steam filmed in the kitchen and there were not times way approach "pixel blocks" to be seen.
Even at relatively low light, very good results.
In the SD mode is useful directly as that. Mpeg saved. The files are in seconds on the PC. No more capturing.
The Still Image function is good.
And the 30GB disk for me perfectly adequate.
3 small Disadvantages:
- Not yet support AVCHD editing of computer programs
- The slow mode is blurred and need very good lighting
- The supplied battery is not holding very long (on average 1-1.5 hours) but a replacement battery makes sense anyway.

Thank you for your experience report. I'm going to get the Camera synonymous order. I am sure that in a short time the corresponding software will be available.
By Elecard Converter Studio AVCHD you can at least in MPEG2 format.

I did the day, partly because of the previous postings, Studio 10.7. increased to edit AVCHD in future to be able to go up to date in any event, not yet.
The reply of Pinnacle Service to:
"Unfortunately, you can use the AVCHD H.264 files or in the studio yet import that you will be coming in a patch can do."

This statement is really misleading. Studio 10 is currently almost "swallowed". "Pros" is for under 20 Euros and titanium (including the Jubilee Pack) for under 40 to get Tacker.
