Frage von seifenchef:Hello!
I would like in VEGAS 8.0. four or eight channels simultaneously eindigitalisieren. The best card on AJA SDI embedded. Since I get only 2 channels out there? ?
What do I have to adjust, or does it not about? ?
Stumped :-(
Many greetings
Antwort von Marco:
The capturing but then are you doing about the AJA tool, right? This has to be configured correctly if it is possible. Vegas can do what these tools can deliver, or what the format hergeben. With MXF is 8-channel, for example, no problem.
Or do you have it right with the Vegas-SDI tool for capturing tried?

Hello!
Thank you, Yes I habs gefunden. At the AJA is da nix. Since you can only select "embedded".
-> In Vegas -> in the recording window left on the preview image -> preferences -> it displays a window with the title "Record Preferences" -> Audio format -> 48 khz 2/4/6 or 8 channels
Many greetings
PS: a little annoying is that in each new project, the project settings in the audio sampling frequency to 48 khz must, well, is more for consumer thought ....
Antwort von Marco:
The project settings can be saved so that when each project start to take effect. With me is the standard synonymous mostly to 48 kHz - resistant.
In the "Project Properties" is the bottom left of a checkbox "All these new projects with Save Preferences." The need to activate the switch and the input should be confirmed. Then the adjustment is permanently preserved.
These settings affect the project anyway, but only the interception and should be based on the configuration of the sound card to vote.
"is more for consumer thought" No, the default setting of 44.1 kHz into account only the best possible compatibility with all sound cards. You can do so like to be 24 bits with 192 kHz high up (and save), if it is a project to ask for.
