Hi,
have now tested my 7D, and involved the camera about 1.5 hours s.Stück on. In this period I have about 10min. recorded (every now and again a few seconds or a few minutes). In one of the last recordings I then get the overheat warning - and this, even though the test has taken place in a cool room.
Does this mean that the camera in video mode without permanently recording so overheated that I can then record a less than 5 minutes? Is this normal or I think you've caught a Monday-Cam?

Nik Do you have the new 1.2.1 update on it? This eliminates, among other things an error in the overheating display:
