Hello,
someone has a master solution for the 5D MARK2 and Final Cut Pro workflow stuff?
In H264 is probably cut out and coded in the ProRess lasts forever and three days. Even s.QuadcoreMac.
So what to do?

There is enough on the Final Cut Pro site. Alone in the German Final Cut Pro forum there are dozens of pages long thread. It is only via the Pro Res conversion properly. Apart from the time you lose a certain percentage always s.Dynamics in the Picture. Quad Core? Deprecated. Octa Core must be.

Do not understand where the problem should be that little bit of stuff to convert. Previously, we recorded tapes, in real time, do not imagine!

recoding is always a change. you can choose only one codec, to cut your program and is supported natively, without conversion to make.

but I think I know what you mean: and do the good programs synonymous, unless you just at the right codec works basis.
recodiert will only render the process.

But eg. with quicktime pro s.mac (win version is not supported) is that: in the video player open. the AREAS mark, move, cut, copy etc. .. and re-save as a mov, and not exported. made no recoding. this must, however, the operating structure designed accordingly. s.mac there are many such games.

whether there is something synonymous as freeware, etc. for windows, there you have to ask google. but probably rather not. especially not for modern codecs like HDV quicktime etc then stop really an innovation.

That is not exactly true. For all Inter-frame compressed codecs (HDV, AVCHD, so synonymous H.264) is synonymous with hard cuts just a complete de-and recompression, ie it is not just like DV, the container data is a new play order and 1: 1 copied, but there are I-frames, which previously were not, the whole material is completely recalculated. An intermediate codec like ProRes is no indictment, but of better quality route. Really bad, how often the word "native" and also talked up against the evils of switching into the more flexible codec warning, you know of whom. It works in practice, and that is what counts.

You're so right! Especially the last sentence. But that is exactly what many missing. Nevertheless, they like to talk over with.

Yes s.MAC, so I do it and it works fine (CS4 v 4.1.0)
-Import: AVCHD 1080p30
-Crossfading of frames Disable
-Render the entire work area-> cut or what ever synonymous <--
-Exporting: see Picture # 3
