Frage von bluedater:Dear Forum,
have developed a Canon HF 100 and am quite satisfied as far.
However, every time I use the Power Off button on the display a warning to me a little irritated. Specifically, it is called "application is running - do not interrupt power." The manual states to "The camera refreshes the memory. Disconnect the compact power supply does not, or take the battery out does not." Now, however, it is so, the device that I just so off, because I remove the battery or the network device wants to decouple. Is this just a warning, or misunderstood, I have actually the thing somehow incorrect and should Battery and AC adapter not remove?
Would be nice if any experienced Canon HF 100 users could express their opinion about this shortly.
Thank you, Your Blue Sue

Blue Hi Sue,
I'm just a Canon HG20 users, but the same irritating message regularly when off. Of course you can still get your cam of the power supply when the message has disappeared and the power light is expected.

Once the file on the memory card (or hard drive) has been write-accessed, it produced a consistent state, before the power is disconnected.
This is exactly the same as when off of a normal computer. Here, the operating system synonymous cleanly shut down, and others to file system errors to be avoided.
The reporting of the Camera is absolutely normal and inevitable.
