Hi,
somewhat surprised and disappointed me but has a strong background noise to the soundtrack of my new HF100 with the built-Micro.
Comparison with my SD video cameras (Panasonic SDR-S10 + miniDV Panasonic NV-GS50), it is pretty clear to hear and annoying. The noise is always there, regardless of the volume of the filmed events, in quiet situations, it is clear to hear, beside the highway of course not ;-)
I got to the net for Comparison HF100-looking videos, which were mostly filmed in noisy environments or with background music.
To you other filmmakers HF100 Question:
Is this "normal" and you have to live with, or is this a defect?
What have your experiences with the sound? Is it synonymous with you rauschig?

I have the noise in practice, never noticed. But now I have your description and as an occasion to test both your files as a piece of its own synonymous with a good recording studio headphones listened - and actually quite noisy as it vigorously. From my PC speakers and synonymous s.Television the noise I had never noticed it. Seems only a very specific frequency range to cover.

With Headphones times you may not listen anyway, because any noise coming super over, particularly because the high frequencies with the lowest energy quasi s.Trommelfell concerns directly.

Did you look at the examples, notably of which I uploaded?
With expectations like you already have. With my previous Canon MVX3i (DV -) I had with built-in Microphone quite massive drive noise, and not just by Headphones, but synonymous from the television speakers clearly and hear clearly.
The HF100 has now, thanks to solid-state drive technology no more noise. Since you are first on the idea again s.Noise disturbing.
When I think back then, had actually all small recording devices, with whom I have ever had to do a certain noise. That was true for analog and digital, DAT recorders and minidisc recorder alike. To this extent, the HF100 because unfortunately no exception - however, no notable synonymous.

So it is, you have understood. Konrad Lorenz has been the law of decreasing stimulus threshold postulated. Automatically, it is always so much in sensitivity and in the subsequent irritability down until you find something, which has a really annoying, is synonymous for partnerships ;-))

In my opinion, the HF100 rauscht unusually high - in Comparison to the HV20/30. It has been holding something in the sound when saving cheap camera.

ioiobas's observation, I can fully confirm.
After years of video recordings with sound, I wanted to drive a 'full solid state' Camera. Since video movies in 1 / 2009 of the excellent Audio HF11 with little noise it was (due to the lack of drive / hard drive), I decided for the HF100.
But the sound disappointed: there is a strong noise in the recordings to be heard. This is not s.der electronics. When his ear s.das camera body sets, you can hear clear permanent (fan?)-Noise (regardless of zoom or AF).
My question: Is this for HF100/11 'normal' (then I understand the test result is not good) or something with the fan (or what ever as synonymous roars) not? Anybody who has a HF100/11, when this noise does not occur?

Synonymous I can confirm that people who want a cheap consumer camera to buy, again and again with false scales measured.
Now let's be honest: How synonymous always come like the noise, it is neither bad nor almost disturbing. If the noise bothers you, then take an external Micro or manual turning the level down a bit.
