Frage von bokon:Hello,
I would like the films of the Canon HF100 in the best possible quality on the hard disk recorder (not HD-ready) to play on.
So far I'm using the supplied stereo video cable STV-250N to the analog data to pass.
The hard disk recorder has a DV - In Input
(See instructions on p. 18: http://www.panasonic.de/html/de_DE/390118/index.html).
The camera seems to have no DV - Out to Beech, or the component-out jack = DV - Out?
(See connection diagram on p. 86 f. of HF100-Instructions
http://www3.canon.de/images/pro/vid/dig/file/HF10_100_IB_DEU.pdf).
Would be glad if you could help me.
Many greetings
Andreas

Component is not DV!
The AVCHD cams do not have a firewire / DV. The files are so via USB to the PC copy.
The most you need on the analog A / V make.
Ouch

Thank you ... I had feared it ;-)
