Frage von timsander:Dear Colleagues,
would be happy of my old VHS video tapes into my imac and digitizer for my Canon HV 10 use, which is an analog> digital converter has.
iMovie recognizes the wonderful Camera (Firewire), the camera detects synonymous VCR (via Scart analog in), BUT as soon as I have analog Biuld I just get blue screen.
The Canon manual says: "Depending on the connected device does the conversion may not be correct" and "The transformation may not work correctly, depending on the software and settings of the computer."
My question: Has anyone experience with the recording of AV> DV material with the HV 10 and imac? Do I have any other capture software take another VHS player take something s.der HV 10 different settings?
Thanks for feedback.
Gruss TimSander

BUT ... once I have analog Biuld I just get blue screen. If the analog playback may not be clean enough? Come to a "bent" on video, the camcorder might mistakenly think it with a copy a la Macrovision to do, whereupon the playback will not be digitized.
A Time Base Corrector, or a recorder with internal TBC would be in such a case situation.
