I s.dieser agency reports about problems with my brand new Canon HV 30 with the question of whether other owners of this model have similar difficulties.

s.dieser place just a short update on the latest development in my case problem.
3 days ago I received the unit of Canon unrepariert back, plus
in my eyes, cheeky assertion that no error was detected!
Customer Support for new devices, but I imagine quite differently.
Apparently the manufacturer knows very well that with the computer department of the HV 30 state not to do.
A pity, I had the opportunity to make a short-term HV 20 to test.
Result: impeccable Picture in native DV!
Therefore my advice: For those on the DV does not create more value (must be), the HV 30 is a very hot iron. Those who are not yet fully on the HDV-wagon train, they should be ringing after a shippable HV 20 still around.

Wobbling back why? Amusing. What is it amusing? A camera, with the movement in no usable photographs can do more, is hardly a defect-free purchase item. Even if the systemic nature should be. Then should the outset of the Canon BEFORE BUYING clear.

I have exactly the same problem with the camera after Willich sent. Today, I was even contacted by phone to tell me that with the camera everything was in order!

Synonymous possessed an XM-2 (still a totally different category) and a HV-20. The latter is certainly not synonymous revelation, but worlds better than the HV-30.

I have my HV30 (after countless e-mails, Abfilmen of test charts with my HV20 as evidence that an HV20 provides a correct picture, etc.) are now long back with the rationale, the device is equivalent to score in all the functions of the series. Have s.Ende but for my complaint, not as a complaint has been admitted, no invoice. Poor consolation!

Shame on you! =) I have made synonymous, synonymous but can fully understand that in drafting an "age-old problem in DV mode" has less priority.
most of you probably only shoot in HD mode;) I will indeed synonymous, because I did most of videos for the web or use the applications, I think I get the best image quality directly from the DV mode, rather than via the down conversion to go.
@ all:
as it downsized your HD footage? in Premiere / Avid, or after effects, or with other tools? ;)
