With the 24p mode in the NTSC-only space is distributed - in the PAL world, it is 25p. With all its advantages as disadvantages arising.
Antwort von tilllt:
disadvantages which should be as accurate (for Europe) from a 25p mode revealed? for compatibility with SD PAL 25p is certainly better than 24p. None I believe wants to be with pulldown image sequences herumaergern or 4% kram have run faster if it is the material times on a normal TV set (which are still about 99% of the population own) wants to look. why not simply increase the whole world at 25 fps in order to ask the other aufzurollen times. even the most 25fps movie theaters can vorfürhren times because if a video of a 25p camera gefazt should be.

Well, you say it even
for Europe. One possibility, internationally discs playable shape is flat with 24p and in NSTC resolution. The plays then any NTSC and PAL each player ...
Antwort von tilllt:
Hmm, what I want to say: PAL is the better format. It is seen _weltweit_ usual (if you now synonymous SECAM times dazuzaehlt). In this respect I would not quite see why everyone should suddenly 24p/NTSC use;).

But besides that: Only so many people have the same DVD on their devices can look I would not-and the resolution of NTSC farbnachteile generally wish to purchase. And it is now so relatively quickly and with good Softwarlösungen free PAL to NTSC conversion (-> AviSynth)

@ tillt: if you speak of SD video - clear "YES".
Primarily due to significantly worse Resolutionvon NTSC and especially the poor color rendition, with the analog transmission arises. Not for nothing is synonymous beggars "Never The Same Color" for NTSC .. ;-)
So when you look at purple heads, greenish skin tones and completely vermatschte written representation is, is it correct for NTSC.
However, these things in HD does not matter anymore, because it is a purely digital format (synonymous in the transmission) are synonymous and the Resolution720p or 1080i identical with Europe.
As a result of U.S. domination (yes, I know we all love it ..) most of the systems (flat panel, HD-TV) of house at 60 Hz are tuned (-> 30 or 60p), this is probably synonymous spread. Cine 24p pulldown is different - because reingepreßt tricks, 25p in the future Timecompression (25 -> pulldown + 24p)
But apart of intentionally jerky film look at 24/25p must say the 30p is a good compromise is better motion resolution, less jitter and still "notional" look. So not really the news / video / sport / reality look of 50p or s.50i recruits and perfectly suited for storytellig. Disadvantage: More images require more compression and you lose about 20% sensitivity to light, since one with 1 / 60 instead of 1 / 50 shutter must work.
