I try to buy HV20, but it is harder than I thought. The major electronics markets denenh I was, they do not. The Internet retailer from whom I've inquired, have longer LKieferzeiten la s in the price summary is displayed - so my question: Is well-known shortage of supply for the HV20 or the demand is simply too high, or the successor model already in or coming ....?

yes, the Canon HV 20 are not disconnected at the moment, as far as I know until about mid-August not.
Successor - I hardly believable - at least not until Christmas.
Since Canon synonymous in the future so difficult to put AVCHD wants, I'm not quite sure yet whether a new HDV - MiniDV cassettes model will get out. Well I hope the times with AVCHD Canon has more luck - Panasonic Video Sonyand sector to attack.
If you look at the sales figures of AVCHD seems, does not look good for HDV. A SR 7 has the same picture as a test actually better HC 7 (less compressed), that is the miserable display movement is now synonymous only s.Television or PC.
