I'm now of the Canon HV20 to buy, as this takes up progressive and endless praise is everywhere. An important thing for me is synonymous of "24p" mode ... Now my question: You read all over the NTSC version of the 24p mode .. but the PAL version has apparently O_o 25p
Is that so? I had 24p on me so happy .. I must now import the NTSC version in order to 24p, or because I misunderstood what?

That is as far right - in the PAL devices is a kind of 25p pseudoprogressive mode included in NTSC devices, it is a kind of 24p pseudoprogressive mode (pseudo because these images are calculated, and not from a progressive chip read out).
If the NTSC equipment was purchased, then please do not forget that so synonymous 1080 60i mitkauft - while we hold 1080 50i normally applies.

24p looks more like film. Movies on PAL DVDs and PAL television are all presented with 25 fps. Even in movies it can happen to you that the demonstrators (accidentally or intentionally) the film with 25 fps is running. The notes do not sow s.Picture but only people with absolute pitch may notice the change in pitch.
In Europe, some even get movies in 25 fps rotated because broadcast television and DVD market is more important than the long exploitation cinema are.
