Hello,
I have just warmest recommendation of a friend a Canon HV20 increased.
After a few test shots, so I have this znächst on the component output (DV) on my Panasonic Viera Plasma (42 ") views.
My enthusiasm remained limited because the material is in no case was better than what my almost 10 year old Mini-DV JVC throws on the screen.
Since I now have a quality synonymous HDMI cable concerned, I was full of optimism about the exorbitant profit on the viewing quality of the (HD) video via the HDMI port - but puff pastry. Same Picture!
Have checked all settings, whether the issue may only DV instead of HDV, it is not so.
I realize that the only Viera Plasma HD ready ", but can it be that I am such an unsatisfactory picture of the" Full HD "Camera get delivered? The picture is quite grobpixelig, ie not at all sharp.
It may be that Camera and plasma just not fit together, or can the Canon have a defect?
For some hints I would really appreciate ...

So I use a HV20 in conjunction with a Panasonic TH-42PV60 HD Ready via HDMI and have a Topqualität.Merke synonymous clearly the difference of DV to HDV - there are worlds in between!
So when should you not agree that something, or an operator error may be available?
For me it is synonymous no preference whether I directly into the TV or go on my Denon AVR 2807 (2 times HDMI IN-1 times out) - in two versions, I have marked differences between DV and HDV.
On television it definitely can not lie.

Ie could actually either a device errors or my setup is not true.
Tonight I will look at the data from the Canon menu item here. Had great times if you compare with your settings could.

ever grateful for the response. On Television and s.Abstand it's definitely not. For other sources (DVD), I have a super picture and exactly what I expect synonymous of the HV20.
In fact, I get but a picture that looks as would a dirty veil before. I've even compatriots, whether a protective film on the lens sticks - but does it not.

my settings are exactly the same-until "SP-play" - is on my "car", but does not believe that it has to do with it ...
Schon mal s.einen defect in the camera for? Me Can not explain-I had top of s.bisher no problems with playback via HDMI s.meinen plasma.

In addition, I can not quite synonymous to understand why the pure DV quality is not better than your old JVC Camera? I used so far DCR TRV-14 - is anything but a bad image but this has by HV 20 - if only synonymous light-in DV mode übertroffen.Finde the 20 HV a really great camera I am glad that the step was risky, for me 740 EUR are as yet quite a pile of money so do not actually exist ...:)

SP-Play, I had converted to test. In "Auto" it looked exactly like this.
I give you right, I will exchange the Cam (at amazon no problem) and then see more times. Meanwhile thank you again for your effort.
