Hello,
I have a problem. And although I have a Canon MV200
with the beautiful öffter videos I've rotated, if I now
these videos via firewire (with Magix Video Deluxe 2007/2006 Pros)
draw on the PC is the lousy quality.
Why is that?
Please help.

Hi Viktor,
the images are already miserable, before they land on your PC? Then you consider how you can improve the recording. Usually it hangs together with the light or the absence of a sufficient amount of light. ;-)
Are the recordings until after the capture on the PC miserable, then the setting could be wrong in reading (to be: DV-AVI, PAL, 25 fps, interlaced) or you can evaluate the video image s.einem inappropriate output device (here: PC monitor ).

The quality is bad only when they landed on the PC.

but still not the best, well the camcorder is

The preview of the video on the computer screen, never so great and can switch between different programs vary greatly. But this is absolutely no preference.
The key is how the video looks like when it is removed from the computer rauskommt, be it back on tape or on DVD.
If you're on DV tape off and no color, etc. have made, it still looks the same as before the treatment. We speak here of "verlustfreiem cut."
On DVD, there will be (depending on the encoder used and data rate) minimally worse, but not significantly.
Your camcorder is - despite its biblical age of about 7 years - still very good. Current inexpensive computer models are far worse, believe it or not.

how it will look like. As long as you have not done, you know do not really like the quality. Is similar with the picture that you on the camera display to see the shows synonymous only a fraction of the actual picture quality - but is still on tape.
Incidentally, the MV200 still camera to a generation in which one the easy DV - In can unlock to play the video back on tape to play. The self-timer button (you have something hidden behind the fold-viewfinders can be found) by the activation of the REC button. ;) This is still the best way to archive.
