Frage von Crespo:Hello, I'm new here, but already knows quite well what I want. I have three cameras ausgeguckt me this time: there are all on site for less than 300 euros - HDV can wait a little when I get more affordable s.eine useful action. Sun will also continue as the absolute value loss when reselling certainly very low.
Because of the planned interior (clubs / bars) I tend more off of the Panasonic, because she going to be relatively poor.
16:9 I have a Philips home, so I would just like to shoot in 16:9. " However, there is again only the Panasonic a true 16:9 candidate, if I have misinformed me.
Photo function I totally no preference.
Moreover, one can say whether one of the better or worse cams for the Mac (iMac Core Duo) is suitable? Can anybody tell about other experiences with those devices?
'm Curious about, and thank you!

I think you're wrong. The HC17 and the GS17 does not have 16 / 9 format. The only true 16 / 9 (with more image information), the MV800.
Ifs can be a synonymous bissl more than 300 ¬, which would be
SonyDCR-HC39
Ifs can be even more (500 ¬) would be the Panasonic NV-GS180
For under 300 ¬ you get in my opinion not sufficient picture-and sound quality with camcorders, but is perfectly adequate if you do, you may prefer to take the DCR-HC17 (without 16 / 9).
It's your decision, but to give tips are determined here all ready, right? Anyway, I ...
LG y muchos saludos!

I jerk :-) I meant, of course, the Canon, with the 16:9 - not the Panasonic. The do have is fabulous for 250 euros, but the indoor shots in low light are unlikely to be usable.
I just want to spend now is not really much money. I was thinking, I now get an HDV cam, but I'd rather wait a bit, because I have not yet synonymous HD-Ready Television.
I know that you have more money synonymous better performance / quality gets (since September 2004 a Canon EOS 20 D, had previously been an 300 D, which I also had purchased shortly after publication). I only have a ceiling price for my (short) mini-DV set-pleasure and would like in this price range is now simply the best camera for me for the money. And I'm not expecting a miracle, but it will filming it already .-) can
Is the "true" 16:9 Canon huge argument for the camera or I can grasp the Sony synonymous? Image quality is important for me already. But since the Sonyja to be synonymous really good.

Thank you, Jan, are your posts very grounded and understandable. I had already read some, but not this. I now have the HC-17 and they just invite.
As a starter model for under 300 euros sure you're doing nothing wrong. HDV can not wait for me, but it is already decided.

Thanks Crespo
is a mix of personal experience and reviews from here as eg of VideoaktivDigital - that I have left hanging while reading that.
With the 16 / 9 You never had it wrong, you can convert almost all of 4:3 to 16:9, eg only at Pana GS 17 / 27, SonyHC 17 / 23 or JVC GR D 245 because nothing happens, except the letterbox frame below and above.
Of course, one advantage the Canon abwegen however, because the MV 8xx and 9xx models have for a modest 4:3 neck, some sound problems be accused of 8xx synonymous, or else it is good.
