Hello,
have read that one with the Canon XH A1 via the component input can hold. (see http://dvcreators.net/discuss/showthread.php?t=21576)
Works for me but unfortunately not.
Have the camera to VCR and asked to rec / pause mode, unfortunately, still blue screen, signaling came of an AppleTV. Signal was on it (have a small amplifier and components s.Plasma TV signal).
Someone knows where it might reside?

it is not on Ext. cont. instead switch to vcr?
habs still never done, but think that for the external content is. so do I interpret the words.

Ext cont. is there if you want to use Console s.PC and is available for external control.
The manual is really like ichs've tried.

Apparently, the guy unfortunately Crapshit written, according to the way is not. Only Composite ...
Had me wondering if the synonymous Component Out is written and suddenly still is an input draus.
