Hi,
I prepared myself mentally grad to suggest me a new Camera zuzulegen the good old Canon XM2 replace.
When browsing various tests and forums are now two (just in the thread title) remained. The new Sonyfällt because of their own and somewhat one-sided recording technology (read: no belt drive) is unfortunately out.
Unfortunately, I can between the above-mentioned cams not really decide. Each probably has their advantages and weaknesses.
Would be interesting for me now, what (apart of the lower purchase price of the Canon) is the better cam. Maybe someone has experience with both models and can help me there?
Oh, the camera is used mainly for smaller advertising and image films are used, villeicht synonymous times a teaching video.

The Sonycam I had not yet viewed. Sounds synonymous but actually very reasonable. My basic idea was eigtl Canon to stay because I am handling etc simply did intus. When Sonybleibt to be seen what the bottom line then. I am also anxious times what the "street price" will ultimately be.

Apropos and XM2 XH A1. Can actually Batteries, Chargers, etc. of the filter XM2 s.der A1 continue. As far as I think the design has not changed significantly?

The Batteries of the XM2 will already be using (are you looking for replacement batteries in the network, both cameras are often used as a "fit" stated). The filter thread of the XM2 is 58mm but the 72mm of the A1. Do you naturally Cokin filter, so you need a larger Aufsteckring only for a few euros, filter rack and filter can be used.
