Hi,
I am currently in search of a camera. HDV I do not, as I said in the foreseeable future, no matching player will have.
What the Filmerei is concerned, I have more than theoretical knowledge, practical experience, but pictures I've been around one and a half years with manual settings (digital / analog SLR). Claims, or rather take my wishes are:
- Pronounced Tiefenschärfe -> relatively large sensor
- Diverse and easily accessible manual settings (shutter speed, aperture, Weisabgleich), if possible with dial-wheel s.der Camera
- Manual focus, if possible with focusing ring ansonsonsten with distance scale in the Display / Viewfinder
- Connections for an external Micro
- A maximum of 700 ¬. As a student, I have unfortunately not much money available.
I have already informed and learn that cameras with such features are priced in a different league. Nevertheless, I would be reluctant to the comfort of such a camera refrain. That is why I referred to used cameras around and the Canon XM1 discovered. What confuses me however is the Age of the Camera.
Is she in spite of the age is still recommended? What are the advantages as the successor XM2 against the XM1? If the camera is no longer recommended is:

Basically, the XM1 is already a very good camcorder. Age is still a problem because of the wear and tear of mechanical parts. For example, if the tape drive the mind to give up, come quite high for you to follow. Comparable new equipment for 700 ¬ I do not know. With a few swabs could you with the superior 3 of Panasonic Chipper possibly be happy (GS320 and GS500).

Well since the other Ueser but not much herrausbekommen.
So I did likewise with two more than a year worked.
What struck me on some festivals with both cams. noticed is that the XM2
Light is stronger. It also has an interval mode XM2 which XM1 missing. Some buttons are missing or have come back. Even the menu has been approved by the XM2 changed. The many Studio Programs at the XM2 only via the menu to find. The Japanese of the XM2 is a lot broader than that of the XM1 and apparently synonymous not so sensitive. Since the XM1 often a very unangehmen Disruption noise when you came too close was s.den boxes.
