I have now increased XM1, but am confused about how the data on the PC should be. A "right" Fire-wire output, the camcorder did not like my old Sony Consumer. Can someone help me please? I have no idea ...

I do not know what Canon XM1 since you've brought me but I can not imagine that the output has no Firewire. Perhaps overlooked?

A "right" Fire-wire output, the camcorder is not ... No fear, XM1, of course, has a Firewire output, but is probably s.der Camera with "DV" or "IEEE1394" label - as "iLink" at Sony are all synonyms for the same connection. Emergency just throw a glance at the manual ;-)

Presumably you just need the right cable. Kameraseitig 4-pin and 6-pole rechnerseitig.
