By chance I could buy a cheap SonyDRS-PD 170 P camera.
Question:
Since this camera is working with DVCAM tapes, I wonder whether the
recorded material with Canopus Let's Edit 2 RT and with Canopus
Edius DVX software can be edited on the PC.

Yes, it is. DVCAM and DV are quite similar and of the transmitted data do even (almost?) Are identical. My Capture Tool (Matrox X.tools) returns together as possible, always choose DV / DVCAM.
