I can not capture with Magix, followed almost just as many frame drops as captured images, all tips of the Magix-Page. Jerky video and sound, like equipped with an echo. Codecs?
Virtualdub says, capturing not possible because codec is not compatible with AVI?
AVCutty -> thousands of frame drops (well before XP installation even once)!
Movie Maker -> no problem capturing
MediaStudio Pro 7 -> no problems capturing
I need your help, not here come next and would like to use Magix

Hello Hendrik,
terms of dropped frames you have probably the same problem as so many other videographers with Windows XP SP2.

Error gedunden! Magix captured on a plate for the DMA was disabled in the BIOS (why always synonymous?). Turned on and happy.
